Lady Jackets go 2-1 on week Solid wins vs. Sesser-Valier and Goreville; but Christopher escapes
The Chester High School girls basketball team has continued to improve throughout 2021. They started the season late and fought COVID restrictions, terrible weather and the loss of two senior players, Josie Kattenbraker and Peyton Clendenin, to a four-game quarantine. But the team has stepped up and played with heart down the stretch.
The result has been much improved play and more competitive games. The Lady Jackets began the season 1-4, but have gone 3-3 in the last six.
