Head Start offers free preschool screenings

Western Egyptian Head Start will hold preschool screenings on Friday, March 26 in various locations in Randolph and Perry counties.

Children ages birth to 4 are encouraged to get this full developmental screening. Parents are strongly urged to attend, in order to have their children's development assessed and to get information about their child's strengths and needs.

Parents will also be given information about the Head Start program, questions will be answered, and parents may complete a Head Start application. Head Start has openings at all of their locations for the 2021-2022 school year.

This does not include children who will be age-eligible for kindergarten in the fall.

To schedule your child's appointment for their free screening, call your local Head Start center.
