Myrna Hudson nee Allen, formerly of Carrier Mills

Myrna Hudson nee Allen, 87, of Tallahassee, Florida, formerly of Carrier Mills passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 7 in Tallahassee, Florida.

Myrna was born in Carrier Mills to Alverna nee Taborn and Esta Allen on Jan. 4, 1934. She was an avid reader who enjoyed crossword puzzles, musicals and trying new recipes. She was best known for her intellect, laughter, integrity, kindness and strong opinions.

Myrna is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hudson; parents, Alverna and Esta Allen; brother, Coy Allen; and sisters, Thelma Allen, Stella Portee and Marilyn Farrar.

Myrna is survived by her son, Kirk Hudson; daughter, Karen Mayer; granddaughter, Daphne Hudson; grandson, Wyndham Hudson; sister, Sandra Caraveo; brother, Dennis Allen; and brother, Lloyd Allen; as well as five loving sisters-in-law, a wonderful brother-in-law, a gaggle of nieces and nephews, and a granddog.
