Chamber board welcomes two
The Carbondale Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has two new members.
Nic Skovgaard, founder of AlterEgo Marketing, and Jason Chrzan, vice president of Keller's Crossing Golf Resort, have both been elected to the board.
Skovgaard founded AlterEgo Marketing in June 2014. He graduated from Carbondale Community High School, as well as from SIUC in 2007 with a degree in public relations.
Chrzan manages daily operations for Keller's Crossing Golf Resort and Stone Creek Properties in Makanda.
"We are very excited for Nic and Jason to be joining our board," Justin Zurlinden, chairman of the board, said in a news release. "The amount of business experience, passion and chamber service between the two is outstanding, and we look forward to working with them to grow the chamber's ability to help businesses in Carbondale and the surrounding areas."
Departing from the board are Diane Hood of Furniture King, whose tenure was from 2018 to 2020; and Jim Jacobs of Jacobs Air Conditioning and Heating, who served from 2015 to 2020, including a term as chairman.
