Mobile market serves 108 families in November

The November Chester Area Christian Food Pantry Mobile Market was held on Nov. 25 at the Cohen Recreation Complex in Chester.

A total of 108 families were served a wide variety of food items including whole turkeys, fresh eggs, Perdue chicken nuggets, grapes, potatoes, apples, salmon squares, Capri Sun drink boxes, beef patties, and other items.

During November the CACFP served a total of 200 families.

In December, monetary donations would be appreciated, as they will be used to buy food basket items for Christmas.

The monthly mobile market is held regularly at about 9 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month, at the Cohen Complex parking lot.
