<b>Free COVID-19 testing in Pinckneyville</b>
The Illinois Department of Public Health will hold free coronavirus testing from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20 at Pinckneyville Community Hospital, 5383 State Route 154, Anyone can be tested, regardless of symptoms or immigration status. There is no cost to the individual for testing, but people should bring their insurance card if they have one. However, insurance is not required. Specimens will be collected using a simple nasal swab. Drive-through and walk-up testing are both available at most locations. The Du Quoin Chamber of Commerce and its member businesses will celebrate Small Business Saturday on Nov. 28 with a day full of prize drawings and one grand prize at the end of the day.
