Gott, Zanotti unopposed for county races

Democrat State's Attorney Brandon Zanotti and Republican County Treasurer Ashley Gott will both retain their seats as neither faced an opponent in Tuesday's general election.

"While I did not have opposition this year, I am still nonetheless honored by the outpouring of support and the votes I received," said Zanotti. "I have a great office that performs excellent work for the people of Williamson County, and I look forward to continuing that work over the next four years."

"I will continue to improve the efficiency of the office," he said, "and will move it ahead electronically."

Along with serving the citizens of the county, Gott said his main goal remains to ensure that "each office holder adheres to their budgets so the county can continue to prosper."
