10 new cases of COVID from weekend in Perry County; one additional death
The Perry County Health Department has been notified of 10 additional confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, bringing the total positive cases here to 340.
The diagnosed individuals include:
<b>Friday, Sept. 18</b>
one woman in her 20s
one woman and one man in their 30s
a woman in her 40s.
<b>Saturday, Sept. 19</b>
Two men and one woman in their 30s
A woman in her 40s
A woman in 50s
<b>Sunday, Sept. 20</b>
One woman in her 30s
<b>Monday, Sept. 21</b>
No new cases.
The health department is saddened to report one additional death, a woman in her 70s.
The summary of the 340 confirmed cases is: 30 active cases; 294 patients released from isolation and 16 deaths.
There have been 5,266 negative test results in Perry County.
The current patients are in isolation and working with the Perry County Health Department.
The Perry County Health Department is currently monitoring this situation along with the Illinois Department of Public Health, both local hospitals in Perry County and local emergency management authorities.
