Bost honors Sparta woman for getting masks where needed
When the COVID-19 shutdown began, Jo-Nita Gordon of Sparta discovered that many local businesses had extra N95 masks that they weren't using. Working with these businesses as well as with folks making fabric masks, she organized donations of masks for local hospitals and first responders.
"I (am) honored to present her with a certificate of recognition for her efforts to keep our front line workers safe," said Congressman Mike Bost.
Bost is giving out Hometown Hero Awards to residents of the 12th congressional district who go above and beyond to help people in the district. To learn more about his program, visit the website https://bost.house.gov/.
