Plenty of new services offered through Harrisburg Medical Center

It has been a busy summer here at Harrisburg Medical Center and it is hard to believe that August is already here upon us.

This year has brought about many changes in health care with the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, our community is experiencing an increase in cases here in Saline County. Harrisburg Medical Center is flexible and resilient in adapting to the unique challenges of COVID-19. We are focused on protecting our patients, clinical teams, and colleagues. We want our community to know that we are here for you and taking all the necessary precautions to keep you safe.

During these uncertain times, one thing remains constant: the dedication of our doctors, nurses, and other front-line caregivers, as well as the colleagues who support them in serving the health needs of our communities. Harrisburg Medical Center would like to deeply thank and recognize all our staff for their unwavering response throughout this COVID-19 pandemic. We would also like to thank our emergency response teams, police officers, and fire fighters who are working so hard during this time.

Even in these uncertain times we have some new and exciting things happening. We are excited to share some new services that we are now offering. In July our Outpatient Behavioral Health Services, Dr. Naeem Qureshi, begin offering a Memory and Aging Clinic and seeing patients in our HMC Clinic at Harrisburg. Living life with dementia can be hard but we are here to help you or your loved one thrive. Our clinic provides dementia patients with complete memory and cognitive assessment, treatment, education, and referral.

We will also begin offering Pulmonology services here at HMC. We are excited to welcome Dr. Chirag Dave to the HMC family; he will be seeing patients at our HMC Specialty clinicstarting in early August. In early September, Dr. David Kindred (OB/GYN) will join the HMC family of providers. Dr. Kindred will be seeing patients at the HMC Clinic in Eldorado and will perform GYN surgeries and procedures at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Earlier this year Jennifer Alexander, PA-C began offering aesthetic services at our Marion clinic. Starting this month on Aug. 19 our HMC Aesthetics clinic will be moving to our specialty clinic. Our Aesthetics clinic offers Botox, Juavéderm, and Micro needling Facials.
