Walker's Bluff celebrates freedom with fireworks and a show

WILLIAMSON COUNTY - Social distancing posed no problem for Friday evening guests on the spacious grounds at Walker's Bluff.

"The team at Walker's Bluff is always committed to creating the best experiences for our guests, even during challenging times," said Ryan Phelps, the COO of Walker's Bluff.

The grounds opened in the late afternoon, allowing guests to enjoy the scenic setting on the grounds and stake out a spot to view the fireworks show followed by entertainment by the Tucker Kuhnert Band.

Officials at Walker's Bluff said that around 360 cars came through the gate for the event. While many chose a spot on the grounds, others enjoyed the show from their vehicles.

Phelps said he was happy with the success of the event.

"We followed the guidelines carefully and our customers were happy to enjoy a safe celebration of our freedom, with their family and friends."
