William Scott Isom of Du Quoin
William Scott Isom, 52, of Du Quoin, passed away at 8:49 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2020 at his residence.
Scott was an x-ray technician at BioTech X-Ray. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin. Scott was also a member of the Du Quoin American Legion Auxiliary.
He was born May 1, 1967 at Du Quoin, the son of William Dean and JoAnn (Sgroi) Isom.
He is survived by one daughter, Laura E. Isom of Du Quoin; his mother, JoAnn Isom of Du Quoin; one stepddaughter, LaChrisha Dunmyer of Murphysboro and two grandchildren, Lily Williams and Paislee Reams, both of Murphysboro.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 13, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin, with Fr. Nick Junker officiating. Prior to the Mass, the Rosary will be prayed at 9:15 a.m. at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Du Quoin.
Friends are invited to make memorials in Scott's name to the American Heart Association, Perry County Humane Society or Sacred Heart Cemetery, which will be accepted at the funeral home.
