Harry Gene Cramer of Carrier Mills

Harry Gene Cramer, 88, of Carrier Mills, died at 2:08 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Harry's wishes were to be cremated, and he specified to have no formal services. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is assisting the family with the details.

Harry was born on May 22, 1931 in Harrisburg to the late Harry and Almeda (Morse) Cramer Sr.

He married the love of his life, Lucille L. "Lou" Smith in 1955, and she preceded him in death on May 13, 2017.

Harry was a retired Ironworker and also a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He loved to fly and had a pilot's license for many years. He also loved to hunt, fish, camp and sit and talk to his friends.

Harry is survived by a stepdaughter, Larie Benner of Racine, Wisconsin; several stepgrandchildren and step-great- grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Cramer; four sisters, Kathleen Hartford, Mary Lavin, Helen Albi and Harriett Palumbo; and a brother, C.T. Lewis.
