Paul Franklin Morgenstern of Du Quoin

DU QUOIN - Paul Franklin Morgenstern, 35, of Du Quoin, passed away at 4:59 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.

Paul was an accountant. He was a member of the Sunfield United Methodist Church. Paul was also a member of the NRA.

He was born Feb. 21, 1984 in Du Quoin, the son of Franklin P. and Martha J. (Brock) Morgenstern.

He is survived by one son, Sawyer Lawrence Morgenstern, of Du Quoin; his parents, Frank and Martha Morgenstern of Du Quoin; and one brother, Brock Edward Morgenstern of Du Quoin.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lawrence and Esther Brock; and paternal grandparents Kenneth and Betty Morgenstern.

Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, July 5 at the Sunfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Wiggs, Jr. officiating.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church.

Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to Brock Morgenstern in a custodial account for Sawyer Morgenstern. These will be accepted at the funeral home.
