David P. Brown of Carbondale

David P. Brown, 84, died Thursday, June 13, 2019.

He was a professor at SIU and a resident of Carbondale. He was a generous and selfless benefactor to multiple organizations including the Mayo Clinic, so in lieu of flowers, make memorial donations to the Mayo Clinic.

The graveside service took place June 17 at Shalom Memorial Park in Arlington Heights. Shalom Memorial Funeral Home handled arrangements.
