Agnes Ruth Stilley Reeder Cunningham, formerly of Saline County

Agnes Ruth Stilley Reeder Cunningham, age 91, passed away April 12, 2019.

Ruth was born in Equality on April 4, 1928 to Frank and Nellie (Modglin) Stilley. She and her husband, Edward "Red" Reeder, owned and operated a service station for the Skelley Oil Co.in Eldorado. Following Red's death on Nov. 4, 1962 in Covington, Tennessee, Ruth worked as a deputy for the Saline County Sheriff's Office. She then worked for Tri-County Chemical in Eldorado and attended college at night.

Ruth married Harry Cunningham and they subsequently moved to Clearwater, Florida in 1972 where she worked as an office manager at Dimmitt Chevrolet. After retiring, Ruth and Harry moved to Inverness, Florida in 1993 to be close to family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward "Red" Reeder (1962); her second husband, Harry Cunningham (2001); a sister, Alma Stilley Pulliam; two brothers, Randall and Ralph Stilley; and a sister who died in childhood.

Left to mourn her loss are her two children, Donna Reeder Kopecky (Paul), Dayton, Texas, and Dwain Reeder (Susan), Inverness, Florida; four grandchildren, Trevor Kopecky (Alexandra), Owasso, Oklahoma; William Kopecky (Charyl), Dayton, Texas; Kristin Reeder Cox (Travis), Pace, Florida; Caitlin Reeder Tobin (Michael), Escondido, California: and eight great-grandchildren, Nathan and Grace Kopecky, Nickolas and Alexander Kopecky, Wyatt, Rory and Everett Cox and Emmalyn Tobin.

Cremation with care under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory, Inverness, Florida. Burial at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
