Margaret Eisenhauer, formerly of Du Quoin

Margaret L. Eisenhauer, 73, of Protem, MO, formerly of Du Quoin, passed away at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, AR.

Margaret had been a Registered Nurse. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Protem.

She was born April 23, 1945 in Richmond, VA, the daughter of Thomas Ezra and Dorothy Mae (Ball) Hess, Jr.

She married Edgar Eisenhauer on July 14, 1962 in Fox Lake, IL and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Protem; five children: Edgar R. Eisenhauer, III of Du Quoin, Paula J. Poe and husband, Keith, of Elkville, Rita L. Feliciano and husband, Frank, of Lead Hill, AR, Donna S. Pursell and husband, Mike, of Murphysboro, and Thomas Eisenhauer and wife, Angie, of Du Quoin; seven siblings: Richard Hess of Du Quoin, Debbie Hess of Virginia, Judy Ridgeway of Du Quoin, Sandra Timpner of Pinckneyville, Linda Eisenhauer of Du Quoin, David Hess of Round Rock, TX, and Brenda Varner of Du Quoin; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenny Hess.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6 at Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin.

Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.

Friends may make memorials to the Hospice of the Ozarks and will be accepted at the funeral home.
