Michael A. Singler of Creal Springs

CREAL SPRINGS – Michael A. Singler, 68, of Creal Springs, passed away at 10:55 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019 at his home.

Michael was born May 15, 1950 in Carbondale, the son of William E. and Thala J. (Angel) Singler. He married Pamela C. Lee on Jan. 10, 1987 at the Parish Park Christian Church in Marion, and together, they shared over 32 years of marriage.

He was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Marion. Michael was a truck driver for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing his guitar and riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Singler, of Creal Springs; mother, Thala Singler; brother, Monty Singler; sister, Sonja Meyer; three nieces and one nephew; cousins: Bruce Sellars and family, Brenda Carter and family, Angie Price and family, Bill Moore and family, Gary Moore and family, Victor Singler; friends, Elicia Holbert and family, Rev. Jeff Morrow and family; and extended church family.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, William E. Singler.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Jeff Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
