Sometimes, what goes up must come back down and that was certainly the case for a trio of City of Marion street department employees this week as they were able to take down the remainder of the city's Christmas holiday lights and decorations, so they can be put away and stored until next year. Here, Mark Snyder utilized a bucket truck to begin taking down the "Season's Greetings" sign, which was atop City Hall.

David Gamble placed a large Christmas light display section onto the bed of a city dump truck this week as he and a pair of fellow street department employees were able to finish removing all the holiday lights and decorations from Marion's Tower Square and put them into storage for the year.
