Caleb Pulke of Du Quoin
DU QUOIN - Caleb Pulke, 29, of Du Quoin, passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 in De Soto.
Caleb was born on Sept. 4, 1989 in Du Quoin, a son to Lisa Pulke. He worked at IPG in Carbondale as a forklift operator. He previously attended the United Pentecostal Church in Du Quoin. Caleb was an avid paintballer and a member of the "Total Greif" Paintball Team.
He was very intelligent and could do anything and enjoyed riding motorcycles and doing mechanic work and loved working out and eating healthy. His greatest love was playing with and spending time with his daughter, Aliyah.
Survivors include his mother, Lisa Pulke of Du Quoin; father, Kevin Howard of Murphysboro; maternal grandparents, Morris and Lillian Pulke of Du Quoin; paternal grandmother, Novella Howard of Murphysboro; daughter, Aliyah Grace Pulke; and her mother, Brandi Merlenbach, of Du Quoin; a brother, Bryce Clarry of Du Quoin; three sisters, Heather Sallee of Johnsonville, Tennessee, Tekoa Howard of Murphysboro and Taylor Howard of Sparta; three uncles, Douglas Howard, Paul Pulke and Mike (Carla) Pulke; and two aunts, Sheila Kirkover and Diane (Perry) King.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Howard.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Pyatt Funeral Home in Du Quoin, with the Rev. Dan McKinnies officiating. Interment will be in Campbell Cemetery, Pinckneyville.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Friday and from 8-10 a.m. on Saturday.
