Terri Lynn Szczepanski of Tamaroa

TAMAROA - Terri Lynn Szczepanski, 63, of Tamaroa, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2018 at her residence.

Terri worked for Decca and Maytag in Herrin. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was born June 15, 1955 in Du Quoin, the daughter of Cecil Dale and Colleen (Heape) Woodside.

She married Lawrence H. Szczepanski Jr. on July 23, 1977 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois, and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Tamaroa; one brother, Mike (Marilyn) Woodside of Tamaroa; nieces and nephews, Brent and Shannen Woodside, Lacy Woodside, Kyle and Erica Woodside, Kreston Szczepanski, and Sarah Szczepanski; and great nieces, Vaida Woodside and Margo Woodside.

Terri Lynn was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa, with the Rev. Michael Overton officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery at Du Bois.

Friends may make memorials to the Fresenius Dialysis Center in Du Quoin. These will be accepted at the funeral home.
