Ronald Edward Risinger of Carrier Mills

Ronald Edward "Mr. Ed or Eddie" Risinger, 55, of Carrier Mills died Friday Oct. 12, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018 at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jeff Owens will officiate and burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills.

Ed was born on Dec. 4, 1962 in Pontiac, Michigan to Ronald L. Risinger and the late Rose (Christian) Risinger.

Ed was a very educated person, holding bachelor's degrees in history and in liberal arts. He loved to learn and had taken multiple classes in other fields.

Ed loved the outdoors and loved to hunt. He was an avid sports fan, too. He loved rooting for his Michigan Wolverine football team, the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.

Ed also loved to cook, and anybody who knew him knew how he loved to eat. Eddie never met a stranger. He had friends near and far.

He is survived by his father, Ronald (Darla) Risinger of Carrier Mills; a daughter, Tiffany Risinger of Eldorado; four brothers, Greg (Jennifer) Risinger of Blywood, South Carolina, Scott (Kelly) Risinger of Louisville, Kentucky, Chad (Jamie) Richey of Anchorage, Alaska and Andrew (Ashley) Overstreet of Harrisburg; a sister, Beth (Mike) Kidd of Stonefort; two grandchildren, Josiah and Jeremiah Antonacci; and nieces and nephews, Rachel, Maddeline, Mitchell, Brady, Cooper, Emma, Kennedy, Khloe, Kinley, and Keegan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Risinger.

He will be missed by his many friends and family.
