Floyd 'Butch' Craig of Stonefort
Floyd "Butch" Craig, 66, of Stonefort, died Friday Aug. 31, 2018 at 12:40 p.m. at his residence surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 2018 at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, and officiated by the Rev. Gary Graves.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4 p.m. until the service time.
A private family burial will be held on Tuesday Sept. 4 at Bolton-Trammel Cemetery.
Butch was born on April 21, 1952 in Harrisburg to the late William E. Craig and Winnie (Harrawood) Craig, who survives.
He married the former Kathy Kerley on Oct. 5, 1973 and she survives.
Butch was a retired coal miner working at multiple mines before his retirement. He then worked several years at McCabe's Marine Service in Goreville.
Butch was an avid fisherman and hunter; he loved the outdoors. He was also a member of the Stonefort Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Stonefort Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Craig of Stonefort; mother, Winnie Craig of Stonefort; daughter, Nikki (Jody) Betz of Stonefort; son, Ryan (April) Craig of Harrisburg; sister, Jacquie Craig of Marion; three grandchildren, Blain Betz and Breezy Betz of Stonefort and Ellison Craig of Harrisburg; nieces, Stephanie (Chris) Bullmer and Katrina (John) Hall; nephew, Loren (Dena) Thomas; great nieces and nephews, Caitlin (Zakk), Nicki, Mary Emma, Sean, Noah, Natalie, Gracie, Loren Jr.; and great-great nieces and nephews, Maddox, Emerson and Luna.
He was preceded in death by his father William "Bill" Craig.
