Lucille Foster of Creal Springs

Lucille Foster, 95, of Creal Springs, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Saturday Aug. 11, 2018 at the Herrin Christian Center.

Lucille was born on Oct. 7, 1922 in West Frankfort to the late Earl H. and Nettie (Wright) Burnett. She married John Raymond Foster on July 20, 1940 in Cape Girardeau. Lucille was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Creal Springs.

She is survived by three children: John (Marsha) Foster, Netta (Deon) Thompson and Darron (Stella) Foster; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, William Bill Foster; and a brother, Marion Lee Burnett.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018 at the Cosby-Sloan Funeral Home in Creal Springs with visitation from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14 at the funeral home.

The Rev. James Thompson will officiate with burial in the Simmons Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Simmons Cemetery.
