Frances "Fran" N. Heggemeier of Steeleville

Frances "Fran" N. Heggemeier, 61, of Steeleville, Illinois, passed away at 11:15 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, O'Fallon, Illinois.

She was born to the late Mike and Jesse (nee Bush) Volle on Sept. 2, 1956 in Chester, Illinois. She married Cecil Heggemeier on May 19, 2007 in Steeleville, Illinois. He survives.

Fran was a pharmacy technician for Walmart in Chester for 14 years. She was of Lutheran Faith. Fran enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Cecil Heggemeier of Steeleville; four daughters, Jodi (Brian) Congiardo of Chester, Crystal (Kirt) Tomlinson of Perryville, Mo., Shelby (Sam) Cushman of Chester, and Lori (Danny) Cushman of Chester; three siblings, Judy (Ron) Osburn of Guthrie, Okla., Dale (Beth) Volle of Staunton, and Jama Guethle of Chester; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Volle of St. Charles, Mo. and Doris Volle of St. Peters, Mo.,' and seven grandchildren, Elseah Congiardo, Olivia and Claire Tomlinson, Eli Congiardo, Hadlie and Mabrie Cushman, and Charlotte Tomlinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kenneth Volle and William "Bill" Volle.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, 839 Lehmen Drive, Chester, with Rev. Justin Massey officiating. Interment will be at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30-10 a.m. Monday at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home.
