Cynthia 'Marcie' Marcella Logsdon of Eldorado

Cynthia "Marcie" Marcella Logsdon, 68, of Eldorado, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Wabash Christian Village in Carmi.

She was born on Sept. 22, 1949 in New Haven, the daughter of the late Ernest Eugene and Evelyn (Hill) Bowles Sr.

Marcie married Ancel "A.J." Logsdon who survives. She is also survived by one daughter, Stacie (Charlie) Gordon of Shawneetown; two sons, Frank (Mandy) Pennington and Richard (Bess) Pennington, all of Ridgway; three step-daughters, Sherrie Vailes of Eldorado, Penny Logsdon of Newton and Tina Logsdon of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Jeanetta Brazier of Shawneetown and Lorettia (Doug) Hogan of Orlando, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, Gavyn, Chance, Morgan, Jayde, Holli, Rebecca, Stephanie, Lucas, Lindsie, Hailie and Grayson.

Marcie was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Ernest E. Bowles Jr.

Visitation for Marcie will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 11 a.m. until the service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway.

The Rev. Carolyn Ellison will officiate the service, followed by burial at Jackson Cemetery near Ridgway.
