Garry Wayne Denny of Harrisburg

Garry Wayne Denny, age 77 of Harrisburg, passed away at 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg.

Garry was born on Feb. 17, 1941 in Harrisburg to the late John W. and Lavivian (Sperling) Denny. He was a member of McKinley Avenue Baptist Church.

Garry is survived by his daughter, Crystal Denny and Sharon McCarthy of Harrisburg; brother John Denny and wife Donna of Harrisburg; sister Lynne Schwartz and husband Stan of Harrisburg; sister Jan Bond and husband Ted of Harrisburg; and sister Sandy Ley of Harrisburg.

Garry was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carla Schwartz.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Don Nelson will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to Reed Funeral Chapel to offset burial expenses, and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
