Sharon Claudette Riley of Carrier Mills

Sharon Claudette Riley, age 87, of Carrier Mills, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away at 12:47 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehab Center.

Sharon was born on March 20, 1931 in Carrier Mills, to the late Cecil and Wynonna (Todd) Pyle. She married George Riley in August 1948 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1986.

Sharon is survived by five children: Terry (Blanche) Riley; Patricia Horton; Debra (Gary) Walker; Lisa Seets and David Riley. all of Harrisburg.

She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; sister Brenda Harrison of Pekin; brother George (Marie) Pyle of Alabama; sister Virginia "Ginny" (Gary) Wright of Carrier Mills; brother Richard Pyle of Stonefort; and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; son William Paul Riley; daughter Kimberly Hunt; brothers Bill Pyle and Jerry Pyle; sister Linda Galas; and brother-in-law, Dave Harrison.
