Marilyn Jean Van Horn of Marion

MARION - Marilyn Jean Van Horn, 91, of Marion, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

She was born on Dec. 28, 1926 in Clinton, Iowa to Frank and Isabelle (Bailey) Ewing. She married Thomas William Van Horn, Sr. on June 7, 1950 in Randolph County, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2018.

Marilyn is survived by two sons, Thomas W. (Frances) Van Horn, Jr. and Timothy J. (Marylou) Van Horn; three grandchildren, Thomas W. Van Horn III, Brian (Margaret) Van Horn and Nathan (Tricia) Van Horn; seven great-grandchildren: Justin Van Horn, Kara Van Horn, Haley Van Horn, Lauren Van Horn, Aaron Van Horn, Ian Van Horn and Ashley Van Horn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and son, Peter Linn Van Horn.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
