Denzil Lee Owen of Harrisburg

Denzil Lee Owen, 66, of Harrisburg, passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

He was born in Harrisburg on June 22, 1951, the son of the late Denzil and Helen Louise (Smith) Owen. On April 18, 1980 her married the former Loretta Ann Cox, who survives.

Denzil was retired from the T.J. Maxx Warehouse in Evansville, Indiana.

Along with his wife, he is survived by three sons, Steven Allen (Tammy) Owen of Sherrard, Illinois; Charles D. Blue of Evansville, Indiana and Timothy A. Blue of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; a special cousin, Debbie Pankey; and two grandchildren, Laney Owen and Walker Hicks.

Denzil was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Ray Owen.

As per his wishes, Denzil will be cremated and there will be no services. Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado will be charge of arrangements.
