Charlotte G. 'Lottie' Harrelson of Equality
Charlotte G. "Lottie" Harrelson, 72, of Equality, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
She was born on April 16, 1946 in Equality, the daughter of the late Melvin D. and Martha Faye (Cozart) Payne. She married Hubert Harrelson on May 8, 1965. Hubert passed away on April 29, 1999. Lottie was a retired head cook for the Equality School System and later an RA at Job Corps Morganfield, Kentucky. She was a member of the Equality Church of God.
Lottie is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Travelstead of Equality and Sheila (Richard) Crayne of Equality; two sisters, Patty (Richard) Malone of Carrier Mills and Pam (Kenny) Price of Equality; four grandchildren, Tyler Crayne, Sean, Tesla and Lydia Travelstead; three great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Holdyn, and Teagyn Crayne; and a special cousin, Dora Campbell of Oxford, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one grandson, Richard Kyle Crayne; and son-in-law, Tony Travelstead.
Visitation for Lottie will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 4 at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5 at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Malone officiating. Burial will be at the Cottage Grove Cemetery near Eldorado.
