Dianna S. Reidelberger of Du Quoin

Dianna S. Reidelberger, age 74, of Du Quoin, passed away at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018 in Memorial Hospital, Carbondale.

Dianna was born on Nov. 28, 1943 in West Frankfort, a daughter to Arlie Ray and Norma Renee (Leathers) Taylor. On June 26, 1980, she married Maurice Reidelberger in Murphysboro, and he survives.

Dianna was a caregiver for over 30 years. She attended Gospel Assembly Church, in Du Quoin. She was a member of the Marshall Browning Hospital Auxiliary, the American Legion and Phi Theta Kappa.

She loved politics and spending time with her grandchildren, and had a great sense of humor.

Survivors include her husband, Maurice Reidelberger of Du Quoin; one daughter, Angela Reidelberger-Brown (Steve Cook) of Du Quoin; two sons, Tony (Jaqueline) Reidelberger of St. Louis and Tom (Cathy) Henson of Du Quoin; four brothers, Fred (Harriet) Taylor of Sesser, Jack (Linda) Taylor of Du Quoin, Joe (Betty) Taylor of Du Quoin and William (Linda) Henson of Marissa; three sisters, Cathy Porter of Du Quoin, Vickie Taylor of Elkville and Tina (Ray) Newton of Gillette, Wyoming; sister-in-law Teddy Taylor of Du Quoin; special friends Chino and Susanna Sanchez; and her beloved grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Brown and Jacob Matthew Brown, both of Du Quoin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather Newell Henson; two brothers, Paul Everett Taylor and Richard Taylor; and sister Deborah Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Gospel Assembly Church, Du Quoin, with the Rev. Gaylen Holden officiating.

Interment will be at Old Du Quoin Cemetery, Du Quoin.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Gospel Assembly Church, Du Quoin.

Memorials may be made to the family for Dianna's grandchildren, Sarah and Jacob.
