Frances C. Wooldridge of Harrisburg

Frances C. Wooldridge, 84, of 4380 U.S. Highway 45 South, Harrisburg, died Saturday April 14, 2018 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

It was her request to be cremated. She did not wish to have any services. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is assisting family with their wishes.

She was born on Jan. 6, 1934 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Carmen and Ruby (Williams) Petty.

She worked for many years as a telephone operator. She later worked assembling tools and for a short while, she worked for the Walt Disney Corp.

She is survived by her son, Glen Michael (Mary Ann) Wooldridge of Shippenville, Pennsylvania; daughter, Reva Michelle (Jeff) Bryant of Harrisburg; two sisters, Rebecca Grojean of Orlando, Florida and Betty Bowman of Nashville, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Jason Bryant, Leslie Wooldridge, Wesley Wooldridge and Ashley Wooldridge; and six great-grandchildren.
