Albert L. Keener Jr. of Chester

Albert L. Keener Jr., 65, of Chester, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester.

He was born to Albert L. Sr. and Rowena E. (nee Thompson) Keener on Jan. 8, 1953 in Chester.

He married Lisa Lemmerman Eggemeyer on March 13, 2010 in Rockwood, Illinois. She survives.

Albert was a carpenter. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, American Legion Alva Courier Post #487, the carpenter's union and he was an Army veteran. He enjoyed woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa A. Keener; two stepsons, Carl (Amy) Eggemeyer and Brad Eggemeyer; four step-grandchildren, James Maes, Alisa Eggemeyer, Ethan Eggemeyer and Kari Eggemeyer; and many cousins and friends.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Keener.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, in Chester. The Rev. Justin Massey will officiate.
