James A. 'Jimmy Jack' Sisk of Junction
James A. "Jimmy Jack" Sisk, 82, of Junction, passed away while surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
He was born on Oct. 11, 1935 in Eldorado, the son of the late George M. and Bonnie (Shover) Sisk. Jimmy Jack married Bonnie Browning on the 4th of December, 1965 at the Equality Presbyterian Church.
He was a farmer and had retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation, Gallatin County IDOT. Also, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Equality Masonic Lodge #2.
Jimmy Jack is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Sisk, of Junction; his daughter, Susan Sisk of Junction; his son, Jamie (Allison) Sisk of Junction; one brother, George Sisk also of Junction; five grandchildren, Zaine Sisk, Zerik Sisk, Jake Mitchell, Jaycee Mitchell and Calen Kanady; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Mike Sisk.
Visitation for Jimmy Jack will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality, with Masonic Rites at 7 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Lewis officiating. Burial with Military Rites will be at the Elmwood Cemetery near Equality.
