Monicah Delane Jacquot of DeSoto
Monicah Delane Jacquot, 45, of DeSoto, passed away at 5:57 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Monicah was born Nov. 3, 1972, in Carbondale to Gary and Judith (Cook) Hill. She married Bryce Jacquot April 30, 2001, in DeSoto.
Monicah is survived by her husband, Bryce of DeSoto; daughter Codelane Jacquot of Desoto; two stepsons, Dustin and Joseph Jacquot of DeSoto; two grandchildren, Vivianna and Hayden Lawrence of San Marcos, Texas; parents Gary D. Hill of Murphysboro and Judith (Gordon) Zeigler of Murphysboro; one brother, Nic (Jessie) Hill of Carterville; two sisters, Michelle (Jason) Bennett of Murphysbor, and Hayli Hill of Port Angeles, Wash.; two nieces, Ashley Hunziker and Madison Bennett; and two nephews, Justin Hunziker and Rylan Hill.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Miranda Lawrence; one son, Brandon Lawrence; and brother Brockton Hill.
Monicah was a member of DeSoto Baptist Church. She was self-employed as a cosmetologist.
Services took place Dec. 28 at Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale with Jerry McGuire officiating. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Ava.
