Neva J. Stricklin of Harrisburg
HARRISBURG - Neva J. Stricklin, 78, died at 6:01 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, in Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Darrell Simon officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1.
She was born Dec. 6, 1939, in Harrisburg to Guy Davidson and Glenda (Cole) Davidson Woods. She married Walter E. Stricklin Sept. 1, 1956, and he preceded her in death July 14, 2010.
Mrs. Stricklin was a retired seamstress, who worked many years at Nationwide Glove Factory in Harrisburg.
She also was a member of Harrisburg Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa (James) McMillan of Harrisburg and Nicole (Tracy Felty) Stricklin of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, Mindy Taylor of Eldorado, Ashley Volkert of Harrisburg, Brandon McMillan of Denver, Colorado, Monica Waide of Harrisburg, Nicholas Dye of Thompsonville and Zachary Dye of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; five great-grandchildren, Ethan Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Tyler Volkert, Elena Waide and Shayleigh Dye; and sister, Brenda Harris of Eldorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Steve Stricklin; and sister, Annabelle Williams.
