Faye O. Morgando, of Tamaroa

Faye O. Morgando, 94, of Tamaroa, passed away at 4:09 a.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Fairview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Du Quoin.

Faye had been a homemaker and worked at Country Set sewing factory. She was of the Christian faith. Faye was a member of the Tamaroa Birthday Club.

She was born August 15, 1923 at Sesser, the daughter of Fred and Myrtle (Pierce) Harland.

She married John Morgando on October 18, 1945 at Benton and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1984.

She is survived by two sons - John Morgando of Carterville and Charles Morgando and wife Jane of Belleville, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter - JoAnn Begeman, one daughter-in-law - Jeanette Morgando, and three brothers.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin with Bro. Arven Kirkpatrick officiating.

Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the Tamaroa Christian Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
