Joyce Hubbard of Harrisburg

HARRISBURG - Joyce Hubbard, 69, passed away at 12:02 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, in Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

She was born Feb. 6, 1948, in Wayne County, Tennessee to Edgar Lee and Louise Hamilton. On Sept. 25, 1968, she married David William Hubbard, and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2015.

Joyce retired as head cook at East Side School in Harrisburg.

Survivors include her son, David D. Hubbard and wife Penny of Danville, Kentucky; brother, Melvin L. Hamilton and wife Judy of Eldorado; sister, Wanda Hamilton of Eldorado; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and niece, Cedrecia Pena of Eldorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Truman Hamilton.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
