Jack Small, formerly of Harrisburg

HARRISBURG - Jack Small, 80, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away at 9:05 p.m. Dec. 31, 2017, in St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

He was born June 24, 1937, in Saline County to Walter and Lucrecia Small.

A retired state worker, Jack worked for Bowen Center in Harrisburg and later in Springfield.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann (Smeet) Small; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Denise Small; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

As per his wishes, cremation rites are being observed.
