Panda Express restaurant to open soon in Marion
MARION - The City of Marion is continuing to cement its reputation as the eating capital of Southern Illinois with yet another new restaurant opening in the near future.
This was the scene on West DeYoung Street Tuesday morning where workers were ignoring Hurricane Irma fed rainfall to continue dirt work at the future site for a Panda Express restaurant.
With well over a hundred restaurants and cafes already operating in the city, area residents have plenty of food choices from which to select.
According to the company website, Panda Express was founded in 1983 at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California. Panda Express now has more than 1,900 stores, 30,000 associates and $2 billion in sales annually, and is the largest family-owned restaurant in America.
The new Marion Panda Express is located directly north of Sam's Club and immediately east of Sonic.<links>
<data>
