Obituary for Bernadine Marie Katich Mueth

<p class="p1">Bernadine Marie Katich Mueth, 66, of Mascoutah, died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo., on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 4:15 p.m.

<p class="p1">She was born June 21, 1950, in Litchfield to Joseph R. Katich and Alma M. (East) Katich.

<p class="p1">She married Michael Mueth on August 21, 1986 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mascoutah.

<p class="p1">She was retired after having been a high school English teacher for Chester High School and Mascoutah High School.

<p class="p1">Bernadine was a member of the Mascoutah Education Association and National Education Association. She enjoyed family, swimming, gardening, home improvements and going to the beach.

<p class="p1">Bernadine gave Mike projects to stay out of trouble. She is survived by her spouse, Michael Mueth of Mascoutah, children Audra L. Kelly Zobrist (Chance) of Highland, Amy Kelly-Wysocki of Troy, Jenna Mueth Reichert (Scott) of Waterloo, step-daughter, Christen Mueth of Fredericksburg, Virg., grandchildren, Gage Wysocki, Cole Wysocki, Liv Wysocki, Tyler Zobrist and Trevor Zobrist

<p class="p1">She is also survived by sister Beverly Katich Klaus (William) of Carlinville and nephew Jeff (Rachel) and their two children, Clover and Korbin.

<p class="p1">Bernadine was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation was held August 15, 2016 at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie.

<p class="p1">Memorial service was also held that day at Kravanya Funeral Home.
