Obituary for Arnold Dean Feaman
<p class="p1">Dean Feaman, 89, of Ellis Grove, Illinois died July 6, 2016 at his residence in Meridianville, Alabama.
<p class="p1">He was born December 12, 1926 to Arnold T. and Aleda (Ahrens) Feaman in Fort Gage.
<p class="p1">In January 1949 he married Vera Peters in Piggott, Ark. and they were married 51 years.
<p class="p1">He served during WW II in the Navy from November 1944 and was honorably discharged July 1946 after a tour of duty in the South Pacific.
<p class="p1">Dean had been a welder at Granite City Steel and park ranger at Fort Kaskaskia State Park before his retirement in 1993.
<p class="p1">Dean and Virginia "Ginny" Roberts of Meridianville, Ala. were married in July 2002 and she survives.
<p class="p1">Other survivors include daughter, Julie (Bruce) Lowe of Missouri City, Texas; son, Michael of Ellis Grove; Grandchildren Aaron (Pam) Lowe; Mark (Stephane) Lowe; Diane (Brandon) Frey and great-grandchildren; Kennedy and Micah Lowe and Benjamin Frey; brother, Carol Feaman of Ellis Grove; sister, Marianne Selman of Alpine Calif.; 2 sisters-in-law, a brother-inlaw, nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews survive.
<p class="p1">Ginny's sons, Scott (Sina) of Meridianville, Ala., and Chris (Jill) Roberts of Auburn, Ala.; grandchildren Davis, Jennings, Ella, Jordan and Tucker Roberts survive.
<p class="p1">He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vera, and sister, Jeanette Hargis.
<p class="p1">Dean was a member of First Baptist Church in Ellis Grove. A Celebration of His Life will be held there on Thursday, September 1, 2016 with visitation at 10 A.M. followed by a service at 11a.m.
<p class="p1">Interment to follow at Ellis Grove City Cemetery. Rev. Bill McCluskey, Rev. Will Carter and Rev. Roger Reid will be officiating.
