Obituary for Vera M. Duensing

VERA M. DUENSING, 78, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 2:15 pm, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, Illinois.

She was born to the late Frederick R. and Mary E. (nee: Havens) Savage on January 29, 1938 in Winchester, Illinois.

Vera was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chester.

She was a radio dispatcher and meter reader for the City of Chester.

Survivors - 5 Children: Kenny Boner, Chester; Eddie Joe Duensing, Chester; Michelle (Tim) Jany, Steeleville; Mike (Crystal) Duensing, Chester; Marlene (Nelson) Eggemeyer, Ellis Grove; 8 Grandchildren: Melissa (Matt) Short, Marion; Carrie Boner, Alton; Kayla Simcock, Chester; Michael Boner, Chester; Matthew Boner, Chester; Justin Eggemeyer, Ellis Grove; Jacob Eggemeyer, Ellis Grove; Emily Eggemeyer, Ellis Grove.

Two great-grandchildren: Ann Boner, Tatum Short.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband - Robert "Deacon" Duensing, 1 Son - Gary Boner, 1 Grandson - Joshua Jany, 4 Brothers - Elbert, Raymond, Murl and Richard "Dick" Savage and 2 Sisters - Elouise Wunderlick and Edith Savage.

Funeral Service was held July 13, 2016 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois with Rev. Phil Keeton officiating.

Interment is in Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, Illinois.
