Norma M. Donovan, 85 years old Of Ste. Genevieve, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.

She was born October 18, 1930 in Chester and married Joseph J. Donovan on August 22, 1946.

Survived By Daughter - Judy Zahner, Perryville, Mo.; Son - Joe (Vickie) Donovan, Farmington, Mo., Son - Michael (Charlotte) Donovan, Scott City, Mo., Daughter - Mary (Michael) Hogenmiller, Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Son - Paul (Debbie) Donovan, Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Daughter - Barbara (Jeff) Erkul, Ark., Daughter - Benita Gibson, Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; Sister - Mary Carter, Salem, Ill.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in Death By Husband - Joseph J. Donovan, Daughter - Patty Jo Lipp, Father - Louis Waltemate, Mother - Edith Waltemate, five brothers and two sisters.

Service was held at Church of Ste. Genevieve on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. The Clergy was Msgr. Dennis Stehly.

Burial took place at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve.

Memorials can be made to masses or to family use. She loved to sew, can vegetables and work in the flower garden.
