Obituary for Robert H. Lohman

ROBERT H. LOHMAN, 83, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 at his residence.

He was born to the late Herbert Fred and Stella Matilda (nee: Klaus) Lohman on January 13, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri.

He married Wilma L. Hobeck on December 25, 1954 in Daisy, Missouri. She survives.

Robert worked at World Color Press in Sparta for 25 years.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 - 1961. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim, Missouri.

He was a past commander of the American Legion Alva Courier Post #487.

Survivors - Wife: Wilma Lohman, Chester; 1 Son: Bradford Lohman, Percy; 2 Daughters: LaDonna Conder, Percy, Darlene (Jim) Young, Chester; 6 Grandchildren: Tonya (William) Bilderback, Percy, J.C. Conder, Kansas City, Kan., Patrick Thomas, Chester, Dylan Young, Chester, Robert Lohman, Percy, Lester Lohman, Ellis Grove; 9 Great-Grandchildren: Brendan Bilderback, Abigail Bilderback, Shelby Conder, Jaylin Conder, Jaycee Conder, Easton Conder, Austin Conder, Ashlynn Young and Zander Thomas; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by: Parents and 2 sisters: Betty Perr and ClaraBell Zoellner

Funeral Service - 10 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, with Dr. Mike Fogerson, officiating.

Interment - New Salem Methodist Cemetery, Daisy, Mo.

Visitation: Sunday - 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Monday - 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester.

Memorials - Trinity Lutheran Church, Friedheim, Mo.
