Obituary for Ingeborg "Inge" Guthman

INGEBORG "INGE" E. L. GUTHMAN, 74, of Rockwood, Illinois, passed away at 4:10 pm, Thursday, March 31, 2016 at her home in Rockwood, Illinois.

She was born to the late Otto and Emma Luise (nee: John) Friedrich on June 26, 1941 in Berlin, Germany.

She married John Guthman on December 9, 1967 in Joliet, Illinois. He survives.

Inge was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Rockwood and Eagles Aerie #3252 in Chester.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include Husband John Guthman, Rockwood; 1 Daughter: Mary Petrowske, Percy; 2 Siblings Heinz Friedrich, Berlin, Germany, Georg Bornowski, Berlin, Germany; 5 Grandchildren Chandra (Rodney) Adams, Autumn Petrowske, Lacey Makenzie, Niki; 3 Great Grandchildren John O. Adams, Floyd A. Adams, Isabella Smidt; Many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: Parents and 3 Sisters - Helga Friedrich, Ulla Friedrich and Barbel Bornowski.

Funeral Service 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 5 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, with Rev. Cecil Dunning officiating.

Interment is in Ebenezer Cemetery, Rockwood.

Visitation Monday, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., Tuesday, 7:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester.

Memorials are to be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Ebenezer Cemetery.
