Obituary for Arthur Ray Pitts

ARTHUR RAY PITTS, 65, of Chester, Illinois, formerly of St. Charles, Mo., passed away at 11:50 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.

He was born to the late Arthur D. and Billie Mae (nee: Sherrow) Pitts on November 27, 1950 in Mexico, MO.

Arthur was a welder.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Arthur loved Classic Rock music, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and Pro Wrestling, but most of all, he loved his family.

Survivors include his father - James M. Peth, Florissant, Mo.; 1 Son - Arthur James Pitts, Chester; 5 Sisters - Glenda Pryor, Shawna Peth, Teresa Blankenship, Diane Pitts, Becky Pitts Ruebel.

Preceded in death by: Parents.

It was Arthur's wish to be cremated.

Memorial Mass 10 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chester, with the Very Reverend Eugene H. Wojcik, V.F. officiating.
