<span>IRENE C. EGGEMEYER, 91</span><span>, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:58 am, Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester.</span>

<span>She was born to the late Rudolph and Frieda (nee: Ehlers) Casten on February 1, 1925 in Chester, Illinois.</span>

<span>Irene was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois and the Sparta Women's Club</span>

<span>She had worked at the Shoe Factory for 16 years and at the Comic Book Plant for over 30 years.</span>

<span>Survivors include 2 children: Earl "Butch" (Pat) Eggemeyer Perryville, Mo, Tammy Crawford Chester. Special Niece Yvonne (Junior) Vieregge Chester; 4 grandchildren: Brandon (Kayla) Crawford Princeton, Bradley Crawford Chester, Dale Vieregge Washington, D.C., Becky Vieregge Chester; 1 step-granddaughter Christy (Zac) Thomas Perryville, Mo.; 2 Step-Great grandchildren Hailey Thomas Perryville, Mo, Samantha "Sami" Thomas Perryville, Mo</span>

<span>Funeral Service 11 a. m.Monday, February 8, 2016 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester. with Rev. Tim Landskroener officiating. Interment Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville.</span>

<span>Visitation Sunday, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Monday, 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester.</span>
