EVELYN "MARIE" GALSTER, 52,

Evelyn "Marie" Galster, 52, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 9:30 pm on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born to the late Junior and Patricia (nee: Nesbit) Morries on April 16, 1963 in St. Louis, Mo.

Marie married Phillip Galster, Sr. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2001. She was a housewife.

Marie was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include three children: Phillip (Micah) Galster, Jr., Chester, Mindy Britt, Cape Girardeau, Mo., Tonya Dean, Potosi, Mo.; five siblings: Charles Nesbit, Lily (George) Stahl, Junior Morries, Patricia Morries, Robert Morries; one sister-in-law Donna Missey (Paul Overton); two aunts Ivy Gann, Carol Marler; 13 grandchildren Ashlynn, Nakia, Joselynn, Phillip III, Joseph, Aryssa, Paul, Tyson, Trinity, Lailynn, Jostyn, Jowell and Dylan; ten nieces Sherri-Lynn, Shannon Nicole, Jessica, Heather, Stacy, Tiffany, Jenni, Krystal, Heather and Sarah; 10 nephews Terry, Travis, Patrick, Joshua, Dylan, Christopher, Jeffrey Wayne, Bam Bam, Gary, Jr. and Jay and several other nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, husband - Phillip Galster, Sr., three uncles - Marvin Courtway,

Oscar Courtway and Danny "Knuckles" Nesbit, one brother-in-law - Paul Galster and two nephews - Chad and Donnie.

It was Marie's wish to be cremated.

Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015, at First Apostolic Pentecostal, Chester, with Rev. Phil Keeton officiating.

Visitation will be Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Apostolic Pentecostal, Chester.

Memorials can be made to the family.

Burial will be at a later date.
